 Jesus and Nicodemus

"How can this be" asked Nicodemus.

Jesus answered. "You are a great teacher in Israel, and you don't know this?

I am telling you the truth: we speak of what we know and report what we have seen, yet none of you is willing to accept our message.

You do not believe me when I tell you about the things of this word; how will you ever believe me, then, when I tell you about the things of heaven?

And no one has ever gone up to heaven except the son of Man, who came down from heaven"

As Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the desert, in the same way the Son of Man must be lifted up,
so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.

For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.

For god did not sent his Son into the world to be its savior.

Whoever believes in the Son is not judged; but whoever does not believe has already been judged, because he has not believed in God's only Son.

This is how the judgment works: the light has come into the world, but people love the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds are evil.

Anyone who does evil things hates the light and will not come to the light, because he dose not want his evil deeds to be shown up.

But whoever does what is true comes to the light in order that the light may show that he did was in obedience to God.

※- The Birth of Jesus Christ

This was how the birth of Jesus Christ took place. His mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, but before they were married, she found out that she was going to have a baby by the Holy Spirit.
**
At that time Emperor Augustus ordered a census to be taken throughout the Roman Empire. When this first census took place, Quirkiness was the governor of Syria.

Joseph went from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to the town of Bethlehem in Judea, the birthplace of King David. Joseph went there because he was a descendant of David.

He went to register with Mary, who was promised in marriage to him. She was pregnant. And while they were in Bethlehem, the time came former to have baby.

She gave birth to her first son, wrapped him in cloths and laid him in a manger there was no room for them to stay in the inn.
**
A week later, when the time came for the baby to be circumcised, he was named Jesus, the name which the angel had given him before he had been conceived.

“Make certain you do perform your religious duties in public so that people will you see what you do. If you do these things publicly, you will not have any reword from your Father in heaven.

“So when you give something to a needy person, do not make a big show of it, as the hypocrites do in the houses of worship and on the streets.

They do it so that people will praise them. I assure you, they have already been paid in full. But when you help a needy person, do it in such a way that even your closest friend will not know about it.

Then it will be a private matter. And your Father, who sees what you so in private, will reward you.

※- The Words of Eternal Life

Many of his followers heard this and said, “This teaching is too hard. Who can listen to it?”

Without being told, Jesus knew that they were grumbling about this, so he said to them, “Dose this make you want to give up?

Suppose, then, that you should see the Son of Man go back up to the place where he was before?

What gives life is God’s spirit; man’s power is of no use at all. The words I have spoken to you bring God’s life giving Spirit.

Yet some of you do not believe.” (Jesus knew from the very beginnings who were the ones that would not believe and which one would betray him.)

And he added, “This is the very season I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father makes it possible for him to do so.”

Because of this, many of Jesus’ followers turned back and would not go with him any more.

Internet Protocol Address

**

If it is higher than a normal year 0.67 degree and is a pace of this as, the average temperature in the world this year exceeds 0.64 degree observed in Heisei 10, and since it will begin to take statistics in 1880 117 years ago, it will be expected to become the highest record.

“You have also heard that people were told in the past, ’Do not break your promise, but do what you have vowed to the Lord to do.

But now I tell you: do not use any vow when you make a promise.

Do not swear by heaven, because it is God’s throne; nor by earth, because it is the resting place for his feet; nor by Jerusalem, because it is the city of the great King.

Do not even swear by your head, because you cannot make a single hair white or black.

Just say ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ –anything else you say comes from the Evil One.

It was also said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a written notice of divorce,’

But now I tell you: if a man divorces his wife for any cause other than her unfaithfulness, then he is guilty of making her commit adultery if she marries again; and the man who marries her commits adultery also.

※- South Korea struggles with oil spill

Dec. 10. 2007

South Korea struggles to clean up the country's worst oil spill.

The oil spill occurred after a large crude oil carrier was hit by a barge last Friday.

The workers cleaning up wore absorbent clothing, while the coast guard had 138 vessels releasing containment fences and oil skimmers.

The cost of cleaning was expected to far surpass the 104 million U.S. dollars it cost South Korea to clean up a spill 1995.

The South Korean government has come under criticism for being slow to response to the spill.

※- the Ebola hemorrhagic fever

Infection has spread, from the patient, since a new type of virus which is not checked until now was also detected, American specialists arrived at the spot and the Ebola hemorrhagic fever checked in Uganda of central Africa last month is in charge of investigation of the infection route.

I hear that infection of the Ebola hemorrhagic fever checked last month had spread, 93 persons' infection was checked by the 7th according to WHO and the World Health Organization, 22 persons died, and also there is a possibility that 300 or more persons may be infected, in the BUNDIBUGYO prefecture in western Uganda.

From the patient's blood, since a new type of virus was detected, the CDC= prevention-of-a-disease center in the United States dispatches a specialist, and is investigating the infection route etc.

Ebola hemorrhagic fever is the infection at which a high fever appears and bleeding stops stopping, and has neither a vaccine nor an effective cure, and mortality rate reaches also to 90% from 50% of an infected person.

Expansion of this infection requires time for a check of that to which the first patient was infected in August this year, and it is indicated that that the measure turned to the defensive hand serves as a backdrop, and while isolating a patient and being in charge of medical treatment, it is appealing for cautions to residents in Department of Health of Uganda.

In Uganda, Ebola hemorrhagic fever was prevalent also in 2000, and about 170 persons have died at this time.

But now I tell you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may because the sons of your Father in heaven.

For he makes his sun to shine on bad and good people alike, and gives rain to those who do good and to those who do evil.

Why should God reward you if you love only the people who love you? Even the tax collectors do that!

And if you speak only to your friends, have you done anything out of the ordinary?

Even the pagans do that! You must be perfect--just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

※- Jesus Begins His Work in Galilee

When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he went away to Galilee.

He did not stay in Nazareth, but went to live in Capernaum, a town by Lake Galilee, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali.

This was done to make come true what the prophet Isaiah had said, “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, on the road to the sea, on the other side of the Jordan, Galilee, land of the Gentiles!

The people who live in darkness will see a great light. On those who live in the dark land of death the light will shine.”

Form that time Jesus began to preach his message: “Turn away from your sins, because the Kingdom of heaven is near!”
